The Question to Ask Yourself
Look at your current AI initiatives. For each one, ask:
Who specifically will own the outcome when this pilot ends? Not the experiment — the business result.
If you cannot name that person, you are in Pilot Purgatory. And no amount of additional budget, vendor support, or executive sponsorship will get you out.
What gets you out is clarity — about what the AI actually does, who it serves, and how the organisation needs to change to absorb it.
